Sixth Annual Krit Classic 5K Run/Walk

Registration is now open for the Sixth Annual Krit Classic 5K Run/Walk which will be held on June 1st in Andover, Massachusetts.

This race is held in memory of Kristin Kearins who lost her life after a tragic bicycle accident. To read more about the amazing life of Krit, please click here.

This 5K road race/walk will raise money for the Krit (Kristin) Kearins Memorial Scholarship Fund. Krit had a heart of gold and an enthusiasm for life that was infectious. She touched an amazing number of lives in her 26 short years… as a loving daughter, sister, friend and dedicated Nursing Assistant at Children’s Hospital in Boston.

Kittery Fire Association 5K Run and Walk

Sign up today for the 8th Annual Kittery Fire Association 5K Run and Walk. The race takes place along the waterfront in beautiful coastal Kittery, Maine. All proceeds from the race benefit the Kittery Fire Association.

The first 200 registrants will receive a tee-shirt and the post-race festivities will include raffles, awards and refreshments. The 5K race course is USTAF certified and given that it is along one of the most beautiful waterfronts in New England you definitely will not want to miss this race.

Bill Dunn, Jr. Memorial Road Race

Besides celebrating my 33rd birthday on June 28th this year, sign up to run the Bill Dunn, Jr. Memorial Road Race which will be held in Quincy, Massachusetts on June 28th.

The Bill Dunn, Jr. Memorial Road Race is a challenging, picturesque 5 mile race and 2 mile walk. It takes place every June in the Houghs Neck section of Quincy, MA and is held in memory of Bill Dunn Jr.

This race raises funds to the Bill Dunn, Jr. Memorial Scholarship which has just recently made a donation in support of my efforts to raise funds for Tufts Medical Center and The Floating Hospital for Children as I run the 2014 Boston Marathon. Bill’s mother Margaret will also be running the 2014 Boston Marathon and explained that Bill always supported causes that benefited the lives of children.

Register for the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race

Registration is now open for the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race and this year is the 40th Anniversary of the race meaning this is one road race you must get on your racing calendar!

Held on Saturday, May 17th in Bedford, NH the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race features both a 5K and a 12K option with both courses being USTAF certified. The race day will feature post-race awards, food, beverages and massages.

Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run

Registration is open for the Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run which will be held in Salem, Massachusetts on November 28, 2013. This race is the largest race on the North Shore and is one that you certainly want to take part in!

Proceeds from the 10th Annual Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run on Thanksgiving morning benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem. This race will feature 2000 runners taking part in a Thanksgiving morning run ideal for burning a few calories before the turkey and trimmings hit the table at your Thanksgiving dinner. With an early start time of 8AM this is race will allow you to have a great run and earn that extra piece of pumpkin pie!

The first 1300 participants get long-sleeved Brooks tech shirts.
