Registration is now open for the Rye By The Sea 5k & Duathlon which will be held on June 4, 2016 in Rye, New Hampshire. This is the 20th annual running of the Rye By the Sea 5k and Duathlon which benefits Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund.

The 5K race has a very reasonable $20 entry fee with a tee-shirt included. The duathalon registration fee is $40.

Annie’s Angels is dedicated to helping families struggling financially with the challenges of life threatening diseases and disabilities by connecting neighbor to neighbor and friend to friend in a caring fundraising network.

Pack & Boots 5K

Registration is now open for the Pack & Boots 5K which will be held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on July 4th.

This is the 4th annual Pack & Boots 5K run/walk and 1-mile Pack & Boots Survival run where runners must wear their own backpack weighing 10% of their body weight.

All proceeds from the Pack & Boots 5K benefit Veterans Count. Veterans Count, a program of Easter Seals NH is committed to providing critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.

Head out to Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Independence Day morning for an early race kick-off at 9AM. The race starts at the Strawbery Banke on Marcy Street in Portsmouth and registration begins at 8AM.

The first 100 veterans to register for the race receive a free entry!

Registration is now open for the Rye By The Sea 5k & Duathlon which will be held on June 7, 2014 in Rye, New Hampshire. This is the 18th annual running of the Rye By the Sea 5k and Duathlon which benefits Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund.

The 5k race has a very reasonable $20 entry fee with a tee-shirt included. If you register before April 30th, you are also entered into the gift card drawing held at the race.

Big Lake Half Marathon

Registration is now open for the Big Lake Half Marathon which will be held on May 10, 2014 in Alton, New Hampshire.

This half-marathon has runners follow a point-to point loop course that starts on Letter S Road in Alton and finishes in Alton Bay in front of Shibley’s at the Pier. Along the way runners are treated to spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The course then winds through pine-covered forest along the lake with quaint cottages and quiet roads. Once back on the main road it is only a few more miles of gently rolling hills. Finish at Shibley’s and enjoy a Smuttynose beer, some Jordan’s Ice Cream, Pizza and more while you relax and enjoy the post-race entertainment.

The race comes complete with seven Aid Stations on the course and runners receive a tech tee-shirt as a nice race amenity. Having run in this area before, I can assure you that this is one race you are not going to want to miss. The scenery of the Lakes region is simply remarkable and the views are some of the finest in the region.

Register for the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race

Registration is now open for the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race and this year is the 40th Anniversary of the race meaning this is one road race you must get on your racing calendar!

Held on Saturday, May 17th in Bedford, NH the Bedford Rotary Memorial Road Race features both a 5K and a 12K option with both courses being USTAF certified. The race day will feature post-race awards, food, beverages and massages.
